Tri-City American Legion Post #513 is conveniently located just west of Interstate 35W and just south of Interstate 694 in the City of New Brighton. It is easy to find your way from any part of the Twin Cities Metropolitan area!
From the South: Take Interstate 35W northbound into the Roseville area. Take the exit for County Road D. At the top of this exit ramp, turn left (westbound) onto County Road D, and go over 35W. (County Road D becomes 37th Avenue N.E.) At the junction for Highway 88, continue straight ahead through the stop lights, going across Highway 88 and staying on County Road D. At the next stop light, turn right (northbound) onto Old Highway 8. Continue north on Highway 8 approximately 3/4 mile. At the stop sign (intersection of County Road E), continue straight ahead on Old Highway 8 for approximately 1/2 mile. Tri-City American Legion Post #513 is on the left (west side) of Old Highway 8.
From the North: Take Interstate 35W southbound to Interstate 694. Go west on I-694. Take the first exit thereafter, which is Long Lake Road. At the top of the exit ramp, turn left (southbound) onto Long Lake Road, and go over I-694. After crossing 694, Long Lake Road curves to the left and takes an easterly course. Continue approximately 1/4 mile, until you come to a stop light, which is 8th Avenue N.W. Turn right (southbound) onto 8th Avenue N.W for approximately 3/4 mile, at which time, 8th Avenue will curve to the left and end at a stop sign -- at its intersection with Old Highway 8. Turn right (southbound) onto Old Highway 8 and continue about 1/4 mile. Tri-City American Legion Post #513 is on the right (west side) of Old Highway 8.
From the West: Take Interstate 694 eastbound from University or Central Avenues.. Take the exit for Long Lake Road, which is just prior to 694's interchange with I-35W. At the top of the exit ramp, turn right onto Long Lake Road. Long Lake Road will then curve to the left and take an easterly course. Continue approximately 1/4 mile, until you come to a stop light, which is 8th Avenue N.W. Turn right (southbound) onto 8th Avenue N.W for approximately 3/4 mile, at which time, 8th Avenue will curve to the left and end at a stop sign -- at its intersection with Old Highway 8. Turn right (southbound) onto Old Highway 8 and continue about 1/4 mile. Tri-City American Legion Post #513 is on the right (west side) of Old Highway 8.
From the East: Take Interstate 694 westbound from the Snelling Avenue area. Continue past the interchange for I-35W, staying on 694 westbound. Take the first exit thereafter, which is Long Lake Road. At the top of the exit ramp, turn left (southbound) onto Long Lake Road, and go over I-694. After crossing 694, Long Lake Road curves to the left and takes an easterly course. Continue approximately 1/4 mile, until you come to a stop light, which is 8th Avenue N.W. Turn right (southbound) onto 8th Avenue N.W for approximately 3/4 mile, at which time, 8th Avenue will curve to the left and end at a stop sign -- at its intersection with Old Highway 8. Turn right (southbound) onto Old Highway 8 and continue about 1/4 mile. Tri-City American Legion Post #513 is on the right (west side) of Old Highway 8.
