| Capacity: | Our hall seats up to 300 people. the hall can be divided into two areas. The front area can seat up to 200 people; the rear area can seat up to100 people. |
| Cost: | Sunday through Thursday: $200. Friday: $300. Saturday: $400. (A $50 discount is available to paid-up members of the Tri-City Post. There is no rental cost for use of the hall by non-profit organizations.) |
| Price Guarantee: | Because our costs might increase, especially if you book your event many months in advance, we guarantee all of our pricing for sixty (60) calandar days before your event. Should market costs, in fact, increase for food expense, labor and/or other items, Tri-City Legion reserves the right to increase your price in order to meet our increased costs. |
| Cost Includes: | Set-up, clean-up, and bartender. |
| Deposit: | We can hold a date for you for a maximum of seven (7) calendar days without a deposit. A deposit for the full amount of the hall rental, as well as a signed hall rental booking contract/agreement, is required to firmly book the hall. That payment is nonrefundable after fourteen (14) calendar days have elapsed from the date the contract/agreement was signed. |
| Remaining Payment: | Payment for your remaining costs (e.g., catering) can be made at any time in advance of your event date. Otherwise, payment of those remaining costs is due on the day/evening of your event. |
| Catering: | Our staff will do all food preparation and catering. |
| Food Count Guarantee: | We will prepare food for the minimum number of persons you guarantee, plus 5% extra. You must guarantee at least seven (7) calendar days in advance of your event. The meal count will be charged for the guaranteed number of meals, or for the actual number of meals, if they exceed the guaranteed amount. All remaining food is the possession of Tri-City Legion. A 6.5% sales tax and a 18% service charge is added to all catering totals. If unforeseen circumstances arise on the day of your event, you will still be responsible for the food portion of your contract. |
| Menu: | The attached menu is a suggested menu. Other menu items can be made available, so do not hesitate to request your favorites! |
| Buffets: | There is a fifty (50)-person minimum guarantee for buffets. If you request a buffet and are not able to meet the minimum, you may incur additional charges. Please consult with our professional staff. |
| Serving: | All buffets are self-serve. We will serve the head table, if you request such in advance of your event. We do not provide personnel to serve punch, coffee, or cake. Please ask someone in your party to do so. Please bring your own serving utensils for your cake. |
| Set-up: | We will cover all tables for catered events. The head table will be covered with white cloth, and it will be skirted. The other tables will be covered with white plastic tablecoverings. If you wish, linen tablecloths and linen napkins are available. There is an additional charge of $7.00 per linen tablecloth and $.50 per linen napkin. |
| Decorating: | You may come in to decorate the hall any time after 10:00 a.m. on the day of your event. There can be no use of tape, nails and other fasteners on the walls. We ask that you take your decorations with you at the end of your event. |
| Usage Period: | You may use the hall for up to eight (8) hours on the day of your event (decorating time not included). Music must stop at 12:30 a.m., and the bar must also close at 12:30 a.m. The hall must be totally vacated by 1:00 a.m. |
| Alcoholic Beverage: | You or your party may not bring any alcoholic beverages on the premises. All alcoholic beverages will be dispensed by our staff. The bar will operate as a cash bar, unless other arrangements are made with us in advance (such as purchasing a keg of beer, supplying drink tickets, or paying for an open bar for a period of time. Please discuss your individual needs with us, so we can quote the applicable price. A 18% service charge will be added to arrangements other than a cash bar.) |
| Minors: | Minors may attend your event. However, they must be fully supervised, and no running, horseplay or shouting is allowed. Minors are not allowed to consume any alcoholic beverages. Proper identification is required to confirm proof of legal age for the consumption of alcoholic beverages. |
| Special Equipment: | A helium tank is kept on the premises. The charge for use of the tank is $30.00. A podium, chalkboard, coatrack, and a microphone are available at no charge. Please make advance arrangements for the use of any such items. |
| Parking: | Free, on-site parking is available for your guests, which wraps around our building. |
| Restrooms: | Tri-City Legion has two Men's rooms and two Ladies' rooms on the premises. |
| Gambling: | No illegal gambling is allowed on our premises. The only gambling that is permitted is provided by, and limited by, the State of Minnesota under our charitable gambling license #A00102. |
| Property Damage: | The Tri-City Legion reserves the right to inspect and control all private functions. By signing the Hall Rental Booking Contract/Agreemet, you so agree to pay for, or replace, any object of Legion property that is destroyed, damaged, or stolen during your period of rental at Tri-City Legion. Such payment must be made within five (5) days following our notification to you. You may inspect the damage, if desired. |
| Personal Items: | Tri-City Legion cannot assume responsibility for any damage, loss or disappearance of any merchandise or personal items that are brought into our facility. Please make sure that valuables are properly attended to during your event. |
| Payment Method: | We accept payment by check or cash. Payment by credit card requires prior approval. |
If there are any differences between the above summary and the actual Rental Contract, the contract prevails. Terms of the above summary are subject to change without notice.
